We all have a name and bus stop. Sometimes we confuse the two. Sometimes our names and bus stops tell a tragic story that only God, by his grace, can redeem. Mephibosheth has such a story. The orphan child receives forgiveness, fortune, fellowship, and family when King David invites him to the table. Jesus invites us to the table and offers the same. Moreover, he asks us to extend such grace to others.

The Christian life is not a solo performance. God links his people together in grateful, loving relationships to help us work for his good. He calls us to be team players, which is not only counter cultural, but also difficult when you feel like you let the team down (or it lets you down). Nevertheless, the call to link arms remains.
